WALK YOUR OWN WAY
'Walk the walk while we take care of the transport, comfy beds and delicious food'
SOUTH WEST COAST PATH
We cover 124 miles/200 km of the stunning South west coast path from the start point at Minehead through to Bude. This stretch offers brilliantly variable terrain from sandy beaches, rivers, quirky fishing villages and magnificent cliffs..
The largest open space in southern England covering 368 square miles (954 kilometres) the beautiful Dartmoor is home to 160 tors (and 39 pubs!). Host to the mighty Ten Tors annual event this wild and wonderfully open expanse of land continues to be a popular walking destination..
Situated just up river from the South west Coast Path our renovated Lime Kilns at Hadlow offer walkers a comfortable night's sleep in a place with a difference. Click below for more information..
An accredited South West Mountain and Moorland Leader Ian's love of walking began with his own Ten Tors days on Dartmoor to now coaching students from the local school to participate in the event. Also assisting with Duke of Edinburgh Awards his love of walking, geography and anything to do with OS maps (!) has motivated him to inspire other walkers by starting up 'Walking Devon'. With access to the South West Coast Path, Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Tarka Trail he has renovated a double Lime Kiln on the River Torridge in order to provide lodging, transport and food to visiting walkers.
Life and walking partner to Ian, Chloe has long loved the great outdoors and takes every opportunity to be out walking in it. With Macca Picchu, Mount Sinai, the 3 peaks and Mount Toubkal under her belt the surrounding moors and coast path provide the perfect training ground for future targets (watch out Mount Kenya!). Chloe is a yoga and meditation teacher.
